Raipur, September 4, 2009: 1991 batch IAS Dr Durgesh Chandra Mishra would be the new Home Secretary of Chhattisgarh.
The Government has decided to post Mishra in the vacant post of Home Secretary and in his place Secretary, waiting for posting, K Srinivasulu is to take charge as the Registrar Cooperative Societies, sources today said.
Taking away the Director Aviation post from Secretary R S Vishwakarma that would be given as additional charge to Subodh Singh, Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister.
It is also said that there was tremendous pressure on the Government not to renew the appointment of P C Shoti and as a result of that Joint Secretary Forest G S Dhananjaya, would be the next Director Panchayat, as additional charge.
