Raipur, July 08, 2023: Ahead of the year end Assembly election, the Congress government in Chhattisgarh has convened a brief monsoon session of the state assembly.
The Monsoon Session would be commenced from July 18 and would continue till July 21, assembly sources said.
There would be only four sittings during the monsoon session, they said.
On July 18, 19, 20 and 21 the house has been convened.
During this period Congress government, led by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, would present a supplementary budget, besides a couple of legislations.
To avoid criticism of its works, the Congress government is not having a longer session, BJP alleged.
However, BJP plans to move a no-confidence motion during the monsoon session.
