Monsoon session prematurely ended

      Raipur, July 25, 2015: Monsoon Session of Chhattisgarh Assembly was prematurely ended today.

     The monsoon was started on July 20 and was scheduled to function till July 31, but was abruptly ended today.

      Speaker Gouri Shankar Agrawal declared sine die after the house took up the No-Confidence motion of the opposition Congress.

     At about 3 AM past midnight the house was declared sine die by the Speaker.

     Treasury bench members said since there was no work left for the house to transact the session was brought to end.
