Nand Kumar Patel new PCC President of Chhattisgarh

     Raipur, April 15, 2011: Senior Congress MLA Nand Kumar Patel was today appointed as the new President of the Chhattisgarh Congress Committee.

     AICC President Sonia Gandhi had approved the proposal for appointment of Patel as the new PCC President of Chhattisgarh, AICC General Secretary Janardan Dwivedi said in a statement.

     The name of Patel was doing the round for some time now but a formal announcement was awaited eagerly by the Congressmen.

     Patel represents Kharsia segment in Chhattisgarh assembly.
