Raipur, January 21, 2010: The outgoing Governor of Chhattisgarh ESL Narasimhan would take oath tomorrow as the Governor of Andhra Pradesh.
Narasimhan, a former Andhra cadre IPS officer, was given the additional charge of Hyderabad Raj Bhawan after newspapers headlines loudly talked about the alleged involvement of the then Governor Narayan Dutt Tiwari in a sex scandal.
Narasimhan was transferred and appointed as Governor for Andhra Pradesh for the remainder of his term by President Pratibha Patil after Tiwari resigned from the post.
Narasimhan would be leaving from Raipur Airport today evening for Hyderabad and State Chief Secretary P Joy Oommen has organised a farewell function at the Mana Airport in the evening at 7.15 PM, officials told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
However, the designate Governor of Andhra Pradesh has been busy for the last couple of days attending farewell functions, mostly by Ministers and officials.
