New AICC In-charge Selja on maiden visit to Chhattisgarh today

     Raipur, December 25, 2022: New AICC in-charge for Chhattisgarh Kumari Selja would be coming to Chhattisgarh on a three days visit today.

     This would be her first visit to the state after given the responsibility of General Secretary in-charge of Chhattisgarh.

      She replaced Panna Lal Punia as the state in-charge.

     Selja would be arriving by the evening flight from Delhi, PCC sources said.

     She would be participating in the extended meeting of the State PCC tomorrow at 10.30 AM at the party headquarters Rajiv Bhawan and interact with the office bearers.

     On December 27, she is scheduled to leave for Delhi at 9.10 AM flight, the sources said.

      Punia was the party in charge when Congress was fighting a 15 years rule of BJP and as the General Secretary succeeded in consolidating the party to a resounding victory.

     When the next general election is a year ahead Kumari Selja took over as the in-charge of the ruling Congress and political analysts are keenly observing her actions to gear up both the ruling party and the government to retain power in the state.
