New Experiment: Govt English medium schools in Sarguja

     Ambikapur, August 14, 2010: In a new experiment, Chhattisgarh government has given approval for start of Government English medium schools in 11 blocks of Sarguja district, officials said today.

     The Director Rajiv Gandhi Sikshya Mission has given approval for start of new model schools in 11 blocks of Sarguja, under which the students from class sixth would be taught in English medium, officials said.

     From the Academic session 2010-11 admission would be started and anyone interested to enroll their children in those schools can apply on or before August 20, officials said.

     On the basis of merit the students would be enrolled and the students should be between the age group of nine and 13.

    Also the medium of education would be in English and that would be of free of cost, they said.
