Raipur, March 31, 2011: Chhattisgarh Assembly was today declared sine die after a several controversial issues rocked the 27 working days of the Budget session.
Before declaring the house sine die, the Speaker Dharam Lal Kaushik said the next session of the house would be held in August.
It was the practice of the house to declare the next date of session and the Monsoon session would be held in third or fourth week of August, next, Kaushik said.
The house also took up a supplementary budget and the budget for the fiscal 2011-12 during that session.
On many occasions, the Opposition was seen dominating the proceedings of the house, whether it was Rogda Dam of Janjgir-Champa or arson in Tadmetla, Timmapuram and Morepalli villages allegedly by the police on March 13.
