     Raipur, April 24, 2014: The heat could have been generated during the campaign but it was not so good a percentage of polling in Raipur Parliamentary seat of Chhattisgarh.

       A total of 65.69 voters today went to the polling booths in Raipur Lok Sabha seat of Chhattisgarh.

     A total of 36 candidates are in the fray.

     Raipur Lok Sabha seat has an electorate of  19,04,460.

     Former Union Minister Ramesh Bais is the candidate from BJP and former Minister Satyanarayan Sharma is the candidate from Congress.
