Raipur, January 11, 2025: The condition of education in many schools of Gariyaband district of Chhattisgarh is very poor. In view of poor performance, the administration has given instructions to immediately remove the principal of a higher secondary school and issue show cause notices to the principals of 36 schools.
While reviewing the half-yearly examination results of high school and higher secondary schools of Gariyaband district, Collector Deepak Aggrawal has taken strict action.
Expressing displeasure towards the schools with poor performance, the Collector has directed to immediately remove the principal of TD Higher Secondary School Phingeshwar and issue show cause notices to the principals of 36 other schools, official sources said today.
On the instructions of the Collector, a show cause notice has been issued to the Block Education Officer (BEO) and BRCC of Phingeshwar for negligence in monitoring.
Also, show cause notices have been issued to the principals of 36 schools receiving D grade. These include schools of Phingeshwar, Chhindola, Nagabudha, Bakli, Koundkera, Seoni and Rajim among others.
The Collector made it clear that all the principals and teachers will have to make serious efforts to ensure 100 per cent results in the coming board exams.
