     Jagdalpur, January 26, 2016: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today unfurled the national flag at the Bastar divisional headquarters Jagdalpur and received salute to a ceremonial parade.
      Addressing on this occasion the Chief Minister said to improve nutrition weekly once packaged milk will be distributed in all the 50,311 Anganwadi centres of the state.

     He also announced a rebate of ten per cent for purchase of any house from the state housing corporation. This concession was earlier given to only government servants. But now that was only to all, he said.

     For the first time in the last 12 years Chhattisgarh was reeling under a dry spell, because of 117 tehsils have been declared drought hit, he said and assured the farmers to provide them all assistance in this crisis.

     Talking about the biggest problem of the Bastar region, the Chief Minister said very soon the Maoists problem would be solved from the state with the cooperation of the people and action by the security forces.

     Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the Republic day as well as for the visit of the Chief Minister to Bastar.
