PCC Election Committee Meeting tomorrow

     Raipur, November 07, 2022: To finalise the name of candidate and to draft the strategy for the Bhanupratappur assembly by-election the PCC Election Committee meeting has been convened tomorrow, Congress sources said today.

     The Election Committee meeting is scheduled at 2.15 PM tomorrow to discuss about the December 5 Bhanupratappur assembly by-election, which was necessitated following the death of Deputy Speaker Manoj Singh Mandavi.

     AICC in-charge Chhattisgarh P L Punia is arriving here today evening to draft the strategy for the Bhanupratappur by-election and other issues.

     Punia will be arriving here today at 7.40 PM flight from Delhi, Congress sources said.

     State Election Committee Meeting is scheduled tomorrow, in which both the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Punia will be present along with other leaders, they said.

          Manoj Mandavi, who was the Minister of state for Home in Ajit Jogi government, was elected to the assembly thrice and on October 16 last passed away following a massive cardiac arrest.
