     Raipur, February 22, 2013: Chhattisgarh has registered a GDP growth of 8.14 per cent where as the per capita income has reached Rs 46743.00.

      The Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) has registered a growth of 8.14 per cent in 2011-12 and touched Rs 84673.58 Crore against the previous year of Rs 78296.88 Crore.

     The per capita income in 2010-11was Rs 40,166 which has gone up to Rs 46,743 in 2011-12.

     The Chief Minister today tabled the Economic Survey of Chhattisgarh in the state Assembly.

     By the end of year 2011-12 a total of 19196 villages were electrified and during that year only 35 villages were electrified, the report said.
