Jagdalpur, January 18, 2009: Chhattisgarh Government has initiated strong action against Executive Engineer Kashiram Dhanuk of the Public Health Engineering Department for not taking the government service seriously.
The state Government has ordered to remove him from his current place of posting at Jagdalpur and attach in the PHE headquarters at Raipur, officials told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com today.
The Executive Engineer was found absent on Friday last during the review meeting of the preparation for drinking water provision during summer.
The meeting was chaired by PHE Minister Kedar Kashyap and during that period Dhanuk was on unauthorised leave and left his headquarters with out any sanction of leave since January 10, they said.
Taking the matter seriously PHE Chief Engineer R N Gupta has been asked to shift Dhanuk from Jagdalpur and attach him in the headquarters Raipur, they said.
