Dantewada, May 09, 2015: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said weapon was not the solution to any problem.
“Rifle on the shoulder is not a solution,” Modi told a function at Dantewada on his tour of Chhattisgarh today.
Modi also praised the effort of the Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh and said it was good to give computers and pen to the children of the Bastar region, instead of weapon, to solve the Maoist issue.
Let the Maoists come and see the condition of the people and they would realize the path they have adopted are wrong and would not yield anything, he said.
The Prime Minister also praised the skill development programme of Chhattisgarh and said through this programme one can reach the top.
Discussing with the school children, he also said it was not success but failure teaches us how to proceed ahead and one is not tired while working but no work makes one more tired.
