Bilaspur, September 12, 2008: Indian Railway Personnel Service officer Prabhash Kumar has taken over charges as the Chairman of the Railway Recruitment Board, Bilaspur.
Along with the Chairman, the board has posted seven staff, including five from group-C and two from Group-D in the Recruitment Board yesterday, a SECR Spokesman said today.
Kumar is currently the Chief Personnel Officer (Industrial Relations) of the South East Central Railway and he would also function as the Chairman of the RRB, he said.
The 1988 batch IRPS officer Kumar had earlier worked in Central Railways as Deputy Chief Personnel Officer besides in Mumbai, Jhanshi, Bhushawal and Dashapur in various capacities.
Meanwhile, the Railway Board has also recruited N C Meshram as the new Chief Personnel Officer (Industrial Relations) of the SECR. Meshram is currently working as the CPO of the Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala
