Raipur, July 19, 2024: Chhattisgarh Government today effected the posting of three IPS officers and made Dr Lal Umed Singh as the new Security SP of the Chief Minister.
Dr Lal Umed Singh will replace Praful Thakur as the SP CM Security, a Home Department order said today.
Praful Thakur was appointed SP of CM security by the Congress Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and many BJP leaders had expressed unhappiness over his continue as the Security SP of the BJP Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai.
Many in the ruling party had alleged that Praful Thakur was very close to the previous Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and even complaint to top leaders of the BJP organization over his continuation.
Praful Thakur has been made Commandant in the 4th Battalion of the Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) Mana, Raipur.
Rajesh Agrawal has been posted as the Balrampur SP in place of Dr Lal Umed Singh.
Rajesh Agrawal was earlier posted as the Commandant of the 11th Battalion CAF Janjgir-Champa.
