Raipur, October 23, 2025: Three Chhattisgarh ministers today reviewed the preparations for the Rajyotsav and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Nava Raipur visit. They also conducted a thorough review of various arrangements with officials involved in the preparations for the state foundation day and provided necessary guidelines.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao reviewed with Forest and Environment Minister Kedar Kashyap and Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary about the preparations for the Rajyotsav and Prime Minister Modi’s Chhattisgarh visit.

Deputy Chief Minister Sao directed officials to ensure all preparations are completed with full capacity and competence, without any laxity in the entire event.
He said that Prime Minister Modi’s visit to the State in the silver jubilee year of Chhattisgarh’s establishment must be made historic and memorable. To achieve this, no stone must be left unturned in preparations. Work expeditiously to ensure all arrangements are completed in a grand and well-organized manner during Modi’s visit.
Sao and the two ministers Kedar Kashyap and OP Chaudhary held a meeting with the officials in charge of various arrangements for the Rajyotsav Festival and reviewed the status of sectors, seating capacity, location of the Parikrama Path and security arrangements at the venue.
In the meeting, the deployment of police force, parking arrangements and drinking water arrangements, along with the capacity of the VVIP sector, well-organized access roads and the outline for the systematic organization of all the programmes were also discussed in detail.
Housing and Environment Department Secretary Ankit Anand, Raipur Collector Gaurav Singh, Culture Department Director Vivek Acharya, Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vishwadeep and Public Works Department Chief Engineer VK Bhatphari were also present in the review meeting.
