President Droupadi Murmu undergoes cataract operation

     New Delhi, October 16, 2022: President of India Droupadi Murmu today underwent a successful cataract surgery.

      The President underwent the cataract operation at the Army Research and Referral Hospital, here in the national capital, official sources said.

     The surgery was successful and the President has been discharged from the Hospital, they said.

     Murmu, 64, was sworn in as the 15th President of India on July 25, 2022.
