Raipur, May 11, 2010: Chhattisgarh Chief minister Dr Raman Singh today stressed for growth in trade and industry in the state saying the growth of both the sectors would help the state in its development.
The Trade and Industry would also play a vital role in making Chhattisgarh one of the most developed states in the country, Singh said addressing the closing ceremony function of the National Trade Fair here.
On the 50th anniversary of the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industry the five day long trade fair was organised here.
The growth of trade and industry would also increase in the revenue of Chhattisgarh and that would help the government in implementing various welfare schemes, he said.
Since the trade and industry provide a lot of employment opportunities to the locals, the BJP government in Chhattisgarh was providing them several incentives, Singh said.
