     Raipur, January 10, 2016: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today address the people of the state in Halbi and Surgujiha dialects also in his monthly radio programme Raman Ke Goth.

     On the fifth Episode of the Raman Ke Goth the Chief Minister today called upon people to fight malnutrition, saying his government has taken several steps to address the issue, whether it was at the Anganwadi level or that of the rural sector.

      Singh also said his government is with the farmers during this dry spell, adding ups and downs are the part of life and this drought condition will also pass away if we would face it bravely.

     The Chief Minister used to address the people in Hindi and Chhattisgarhi languages in the last four episodes, but this time he included Halbi, the popular dialect of Bastar region and Surgujiha of the Sarguja region of the state.

     Singh also wished the people of the state happy new year along with the traditional festival of Chher Chhera, Makar Sankranti and Republic Day and Swami Vivekananda anniversary.

     Today was the fifth episode of the Raman Ke Goth.

     The Chief Minister addressed to the people via All India Radio, which was broadcast by all the radio stations of the state.

     Even regional television channels beamed the programme live.

     Raman Ke Goth was started on September 13, last, which is being broadcast every second Sunday of a month from 10.45 AM to 11.00 AM.
