Raipur, September 13, 2015: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today became the first Chief Minister of the country to address people every month through All India Radio.
On his Raman Ke Goth, the Chief Minister today said through this programme, he could now speak to all the nooks and corners of the state.
The condition of the state, role of government and what are its policies and programmes would be carried to the people through this monthly programme of the Public Relations Department, Singh said.
On every second Sunday the “Raman Ke Goth” is to be broadcast from 10.45 AM to 11 AM through all the stations of the All India Radio in Chhattisgarh and some of the regional television channels would also carry that.
On its maiden episode, the Chief Minister spoke from his heart and informed the people about various welfare schemes of his government.
The Chief Minister also assured the farmers of all assistance during the drought.
Singh also emphasis on hygiene and cleanliness of urban and rural areas while talking about the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
