     Raipur, April 24, 2012: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today said former Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh Nirmala Buch and former Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh Suyogya Kumar Misra would be the interlocutorsfrom state government side.

     “Nirmala Buch and S K Misra will be the interlocutors from the state government side,” the Chief Minister told reporters here.

     All are also concern about the health condition of the abducted Sukma Collector Alex V F Paul Menon V and said through CPI leader Manish Kunjam the government was trying to send medicines for the 2006 batch IAS.

     There should not be any dead line to deal with any such situation, the Chief Minister said replying to a question about the end of the Maoists deadline of April 25.

     Earlier in the day the Chief Minister had a meeting with Chief Secretary Sunil Kumar and a host of officials and discussed the issue after senior Supreme Court Advocate Prashant Bhushan and former CPI MLA Manish Kunjam refused to become Maoists interlocutors.

     In that meeting the names of Buch and Misra were finalised, sources said adding the Chief Minister also spoke to both the officials and took their consent before announcing their names as the Government interlocutors.

     When the 2006-batch IAS officer was on a tour on April 21 of the Majhipara area in Sukma District during Gram Suraj Abhiyan, he was confronted by the Maoists guerrilla and after exchange of fire, the civil servant was kidnapped by Maoists after killing both his body guards.
