Raipur, October 15, 2015: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today turned 64 years.
Singh was born on October 15, 1952 at Thathapur of Rajnandgaon district in Chhattisgarh.
There was a bee line today at his residence to wish him on his birth day.
People from all walks of life, starting from ministers, officials, industrialists to media persons, all were seen waiting for their turn to wish the Chief Minister.
Later talking to media, Singh thanked the people for their best wishes.
It was because of the blessings of the people, he was elected thrice as Chief Minister of the state, Singh said.
He also wished the people for the Nav Ratri.
The Chief Minister had also celebrated his birth day at Rajnandgaon and Kawardha with the local people there.
His Rajnandgaon MP son Abhishek Singh had also accompanied the Chief Minister during his tour of both the districts.
