Dallirajhara, May 10, 2013: A statue of killed trade union leader Shankar Guha Niyogi was today unveiled by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh here.
After unveiling the statue, the Chief Minister paid Niyogi rich tributes and recalled his contribution to the society.
On arrival at Dallirajhara Singh was greeted by a gathering of people, led by Mukti Niyogi, daughter of the trade union leader who is also the Dallirajhara Municipality Chairperson.
The Chief Minister is currently embarked on his Vikas Yatra ahead of the year end Assembly election.
