Raipur, October 05, 2016: Chhattisgarh government has initiated steps to develop tribal tourism circuit in the state with a central sanction of about Rs 100 crore, official sources said today.
To showcase the tribal culture of the state a tribal tourism circuit is being developed in Chhattisgarh with the assistance of Tourism Ministry of the Government of India, officials said.
For developing the circuit the Tourism Ministry has sanction Rs 99.94 crore to Chhattisgarh, the sources said.
Places like Jashpur, Kunkuri, Mainpat, Ambikapur, Maheshpur, Ratanpur, Kurdar, Sarodha, Dadar, Gangrel, Kondagaon, Nathianawagaon, Jagdalpur, Chitakote and Tirathgarh have been included in the project.
Taking the theme of tribal, tourism infrastructure and facilities would be developed in those places, the officials added.
