Raipur, December 02, 2022: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today moved a supplementary budget of Rs 4337 crore in the Chhattisgarh Assembly on the second and last day of the special session.
Income and purchase capacity of all the people in the state have increased because of the pro-poor policy of the state government, the Chief Minister said.
Due to better management and discipline, the fiscal condition of the state has strengthened, Baghel said.
He also said the state government has not taken any loan from the market from this fiscal.
In the supplementary budget the government has made provision of Rs 950 crore for the farmers under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, he said.
He also spoke about various measures under taken by the state Congress government and the schemes that are benefitting the people, before the supplementary budget was passed.
