House adjourned after paying homage to Dy Speaker Manoj Mandavi

     Raipur, December 01, 2022: Chhattisgarh assembly today fondly remember its Deputy Speaker Manoj Singh Mandavi and paid rich tributes on the inaugural day of the Special session today.

     After the house assembled Speaker Dr Charan Das Mahant paying rich tributes to the senior tribal leader recalled his association with Mandavi.

      Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has also shared his memories of long association with his party colleague and expressed sorry over the sudden demise of Mandavi.

      Minister T S Singhdeo, Leader of Opposition Narayan Chandel and members across party line had expressed their heartfelt condolences and the house remained silence for some time in respect of the departed soul and then the house was adjourned for the day.

     Sitting Congress MLA from Bhanupratappur and Deputy Assembly Speaker Manoj Singh Mandavi passed away on October 16 last after a massive cardiac arrest.
