Raipur, April 23, 2011: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today said the nature of demands of the people have changed in the last couple of years and now they are more focussing on strengthening infrastructure at their villages.
It has been a nice experience during the Gram Suraj Abhiyan, Singh told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com here before starting his day-4 of the Gram Suraj-2011.
The number of grievances has really come down over the years and also the nature of demands have changed in the recent past, he said.
Instead of demands on public distribution system shop or paddy purchase from farmers, the demands of the people have shifted to infrastructure, he said.
Now people are demanding more of Concrete Roads, Schools, Hospitals and boundary wall of government buildings, Singh added.
