Supt Engg, wife killed in Mishap

       Raipur, January 01, 2012: A Superintending Engineer and his wife were today killed in a road accident in Durg district of Chhattisgarh, officials said.

      Superintending Engineer in Public Works Department Yuvraj Meshram and his wife were today killed in a road accident at Kalangpur, near Gunderdehi of Durg district, officials said.

      Meshram was posted in Jagdalpur.

      The accident occurred when Meshram was himself driving the vehicle and that was collided with a single post, they said.

      His wife died on the spot where as Meshram died on way to Bhilai Hospital, the officials said.

     Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh and PWD Minister Brij Mohan Agrawal have expressed their deepest condolences to the Meshram family.
