Raipur, December 06, 2022: A delegation of farmers from Tamil Nadu today met Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and discussed about the harvesting procedure, procurement and agriculture policies.
The delegation had also presented a coconut sapling and 5 varieties of organic paddy to the Chief Minister Baghel.
The delegation was from Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu.
The head of the delegation Sundar Vimal said, impressed by the agriculture policy of the Chhattisgarh government 14 members from the Thanjavur farmers of Cauvery basin have come over here to understand the scheme.
Chhattisgarh farmers are immensely benefitted from the paddy procurement policy of the state government, they said adding this policy should be adopted by the Tamil Nadu government.
