Tehsildar captured red handed accepting money

     Kurud, September 23, 2011: A revenue official was today arrested red handed by the Anti Corruption Bureau allegedly demanding and accepting money for demarcation of land.

     According to officials, Tehsildar Kurud R V Sharma had demanded money from one Basant Sahu for demarcation of land and while he was allegedly accepting that money the anti corruption bureau sleuth captured him red handed.

     From the possession of Sharma Rs 8000 had been recovered and under the Prevention of Corruption Act a case has been registered and action was initiated against him, the officials said.
