Raipur, March 12, 2016: Tilottama Hota, wife of prominent cooperative movement leader of the country late Bharat Chandra Hota, was consigned to flame today.
In the presence of family members, including three sons and a daughter and grand children, she was consigned to flame at the Puri Swarga Dwar.
Suhaas Chandra Hota performed the last rite.
Tilottama Hota, aged 82, mother of senior journalist Prakash Chandra Hota, passed away yesterday late evening in a private nursing home at Bhubaneswar after a brief illness, her family members said.
She left behind two daughters, six sons and other family members.
Her other rituals would be held at their native place in Bargarh, family sources said.
