When couples of hours are only left for the swearing in ceremony but the Chief Minister is seized with the issue of the post of the Speaker in the Assembly.
Although party central leadership had finalised the name of prominent tribal leader Nanki Ram Kanwar for the post of Speaker but he preferred to become a minister than engaged in surely legislative works.
In the changed situation the name of Bilha MLA Dharam Kaushik is on the top of the list, a top party leader said.
However, when contacted Kaushik told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com today that he did not ask for any thing and what ever the party decides about him would do good to him.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister continued to maintain secrecy on the list of names who would take oath today as ministers.
Top party sources said state Party In Charge Dharmendra Pradhan arrived here today to take a last minute decision on some names.
It is also said the state party leaders have also requested Pradhan to stay here for two days as there could be raise of voice in the party on the name of ministers and assembly officials and also on the issue of distribution of portfolios among the council of ministers.
However, the air would be cleared in a couple of hours.
