Bilaspur, March 19, 2025: Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao today reviewed the preparations being made for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bilaspur on March 30 by holding a meeting with the district administration.

Prime Minister’s arrival in Chhattisgarh and especially Bilaspur is a matter of great fortune for them. People are very excited about his programme. They are waiting impatiently to make it historic and memorable, said Sao and enquired about the status of the preparation works and directed to complete all the works by March 25.
Sao, who is also the Bilaspur district in-charge Minister, also gave instructions to run a special cleanliness campaign in the entire district from March 25 to March 29 before the arrival of the Prime Minister.

He also asked the officials to involve the newly elected councilors, members, sarpanches and public representatives in the campaign.
Sao inspected the preparations being made at the meeting place and the parking space being constructed around it and gave suitable instructions to the officials.

Senior officials of the state government and district administration including Additional Chief Secretary and Bilaspur’s in-charge Secretary Manoj Kumar Pingua, Bilaspur IG Sanjeev Shukla, Collector Avnish Sharan and SP Rajnesh Singh were also present during the field visit by the Deputy Chief Minister.
While reviewing the preparations for Modi’s visit, Sao said that Bilaspur has got the privilege of hosting the Prime Minister’s state level programme. “We are getting a good opportunity to show our schemes in a good form to the people of the whole state. People from all over the state will come to this function. We have to give them a good message through this programme. They will be like guests for us. They have to be given adequate respect. They should not feel alienated,” said the Deputy Chief Minister.
Sao also instructed the Public Works Department officials to run a campaign and repair the roads of the entire district including around Bilha.
