Bilaspur, October 02, 2012: One railway staff was killed and four injured when two trains collided today in Bilaspur-Raipur section of Chhattisgarh.
A goods train today hit another goods train at Dagouri station resulting in derailment of eight of its wagons, a South East Central Railway Spokesman told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com.
In that incident one Railway staff was killed on the spot where as four are injured, who have been shifted to Apollo Hospital at Bilaspur for better treatment, the spokesman said.
The goods train was given signal on the main line. However, ignoring that signal, the train went into a loop line at 10.57 AM while entering Dagouri yard and hit a stationary goods train, resulting in the accident, he said.
