12 ton vehicles ban on Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak

     Raipur, July 26, 2010: Chhattisgarh Government today ban plying of vehicles of more than 12 tonnes on any of the roads constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in Bastar district.

     For maintaining the quality of the roads and its maintenance, any vehicle of weigh of more than 12 tonnes have been banned from plying on the roads constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, officials said.

     The Bastar District Collector has informed all the concerned people, including the transport associations about the decision, they said.
