     Raipur, May 15, 2010: BJP Government in Chhattisgarh today declared a three day state mourning for the sudden demise of former Vice President Bhairo Singh Shekhawat.

     Chhattisgarh would observe a state mourning till Monday, May 17 for the death of Shekhawat, a state Government order said here.

     For the death of the former Vice President, earlier in the day at Jaipur, the National Flag would be half mast, it said.

     Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh in a condolence message said Shekhawat was a very sensitive politician, who had done a lot of things for the society and the country.

     It was a personal loss for his, Singh said.

     The Chief Minister and Speaker Dharam Lal Kaushik would be attending the funeral of the three times Chief Minister of Rajasthan at Jaipur tomorrow.
