     Raipur, November 21, 2011: About 5.64 lakh youths are expected to appear for teacher eligibility test (TET) in Chhattisgarh, the Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh was told today.

     During a meeting of the District Collectors and District Superintendents of Police, the Chief Minister reviewed various matters including the forth coming eligibility test for primary and middle school teachers.

     So far 5.80 lakh forms have been sold for the TET, officials told the review meeting.

     However, the administration was expecting about 5.64 lakh applicants would appear for the examination.

     Stating that the conduct of examination for such a huge number of applicants was a tough task, the Chief Minister asked the officials to take every caution for a smooth conduct of the examination.
