     Raigarh, November 22, 2011: Chhattisgarh Administration has denied having harassed a villager in the name of encroachment forcing him to commit suicide.

     The cause of suicide of Surendra Kumar Chouhan of Pusour block headquarters was not removal of illegal encroachment, an official release of Raigarh district administration said here today.

      Tehsildar Pusour had submitted a report after visiting the spot, in which it was revealed that the administration had not even issued Chouhan any notice for removal of encroachment.

     Nor notices were issued neither officials of the Pusour local body had exhorted pressure on Chouhan for removal of any kind of encroachment, the release said quoting Sub Divisional Magistrate Raigarh, J R Chourasia.

     Police administration was, however, probing the reason of committing suicide by Chouhan, it said.
