Raipur, September 05, 2016: Chhattisgarh Governor Balramji Dass Tandon today honoured 22 teachers for their outstanding work in the field of education.
A function was organized at the Raj Bhawan, presided over by Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh to celebrate the Teachers day, in which School Education Minister Kedar Kashyap was also present.
A total of 22 teachers were felicitated at Raj Bhawan today including 18 teachers for their work in the year 2015, officials said.
Teachers are also being felicitated at the block and district levels today on the direction of the Chief Minister, they added.
