Raipur, February 03, 2023: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today appointed former Chief Secretary and his close confidant Vivek Dhand as the Chairman of a newly constituted Commission.
Retired IAS Vivek Dhand has been appointed as the Chairman of the newly created Chhattisgarh State Navachar Ayog, a government order said here.
The Navachar Ayog or Innovative Commission has recently been created by the state government for better implementation of government programmes and effective functioning of the administration.
After retirement from the government services, Dhand was appointed as the Chairman of the RERA or the Real Estate Regulatory Authority and on completion of the full term he was given the new assignment by Chief Minister Baghel.
“The Chairman of the Navachar Ayog will give suggestions to the state government on effective implementation of various welfare schemes of the state, official sources said.
The Commission will also suggest on innovative ways to the administration, the sources said.
