Raipur, December 28, 2023: Bhupesh Baghel appointee powerful Managing Director of State Power Transmission Company has resigned from her post, official sources said today.
The Managing Director of Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company Ujjwala Baghel has tendered her resignation, the sources said.
She was appointed MD by the previous Congress government led by Bhupesh Baghel, and after his defeat in the assembly election she had resigned.
In an order dated December 26, 2023 the state Energy Department said her resignation had been accepted from December 4, 2023, the date when she resigned. Managing Director of the state Power Distribution Company Manoj Khare has been given the additional charge of MD State Power transmission Company till March 31, 2024 or till further order.
