Raipur, December 12, 2008: Dr Raman Singh today took oath as Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh for the second time.
Governor E S L Narasimhan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Singh in a well attended function at the historic Police Parade Ground here.
Singh took oath in Hindi and he was alone to take oath today.
Besides BJP leader L K Advani and Rajnath Singh, Chief Ministers of Punjab Parkash Singh Badal and Maj Gen B C Khanduri of Uttarakhand and a host of prominent political personalities were present in that function.
Top ruling BJP MLA Brij Mohan Agrawal and prominent bureaucrat Aman Singh had handled the entire affair of function.
