      Raipur, March 31, 2026: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Mahavir Swami, the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism.

     Chief Minister Sai stated that Bhagwan Mahavir’s principles of truth, non-violence, compassion, and non-possession continue to serve as guiding beacons for human life even today.

     He remarked that by embracing these values, peace, harmony, and balance can be established within society.

     Sai noted that Bhagwan Mahavir’s life inspires us to live with a spirit of self-restraint, renunciation, and coexistence. His message is not relevant merely for a specific section of society, but for all of humanity.

     He appealed to the people of the state to internalize Bhagwan Mahavir’s teachings in their daily lives and to always come forward to assist the vulnerable and needy sections of society.
