Raipur, May 5, 2026: Continuing his statewide tour under the ‘Sushasan Tihar’ (Good Governance Festival) initiative, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today performed the Griha Pravesh (house-warming ceremony) for Subhan Singh Meravi.

The Chief Minister today performed the Griha Pravesh (house-warming ceremony) for Meravi in the village of Sarodhi, located in the Chuikhadan block of the Khairagarh-Chuikhadan-Gandai district, by personally handing him the keys to his newly constructed home, built under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana.

Subhan Singh Meravi said that he had never imagined the Chief Minister himself would visit his village to bestow upon him such an honour. For him, this is not merely a house, but a symbol of dignity and trust, he added.

He further shared that he has received a land title (Patta) for 3 acres and 2 decimals of land under the Forest Rights Act, on which he cultivates crops to support his family.

Additionally, his wife is receiving regular financial assistance under the ‘Mahtari Vandan Yojana,’ which helps in meeting their household needs, Meravi said.

Speaking to the villagers on this occasion, Chief Minister Sai stated that the government’s objective is to ensure that the benefits of its schemes reach the very last person standing in the queue.

He appealed to the people to avail themselves of the government’s various schemes to the fullest possible extent.
