     Raipur, November 16, 2011: Top Indian Army officers today reviewed the progress of Jungle warfare training during their visit to the Army Camps in Kondagaon area of Bastar district in Chhattisgarh.

     Lieutenant General V K Ahluwalia, General Officer Commanding in Chief, Central Command and Lieutenant General RS Pradhan, General Officer Commanding, Madhya Bharat Area, Jabalpur visited the Kondagaon area, where a formation of the Army was currently undergoing second training cycle, official sources said here today.

     The Army Commander lauded all ranks for the professional approach adopted during the training of the army personnel, who are undergoing maneuver training in the jungles near Kondagaon, they said.

     In addition to their operation oriented training, the troops are undertaking a number of civic actions in coordination with the District administration, the officials said. 

     Lt Gen Ahluwalia also met the Governor Shekhar Dutt here at Raipur.
