Raipur, August 22, 2010: BJP MLA from Sanjori (Balod) in Durg District of Chhattisgarh Madanlal Sahu passed away today after a massive heart attack.
After he felt uncomfortable while attending the state BJP Executive meeting Sahu returned to his government quarters here, where he had a massive heart attack, party sources told ChhattisgarhTopNews.Com here.
Sahu was immediately rushed to a local private hospital here, where doctors declared him dead, they said.
The BJP MLA was 55 years old and had passed MA from Ravi Shankar Shukla University in Economics in the year 1978.
On hearing the news Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh, Assembly Speaker Dharam Lal Kaushik and a host of Ministers and ruling party leaders had rushed to the hospital.
Governor Sekhar Dutt, Chief Minister, Speaker and several Ministers and legislators have expressed their deep sorrow over the sudden death of Sahu.
The last rite would be performed tomorrow.
