Raipur, July 19, 2024: Government of India is likely to replace the 90-year old Aircraft Act with a new Act.
In the coming Monsoon session of Parliament the Narendra Modi government could present a new bill to replace the Aircraft Ac of 1934, media reports said.
To replace the Aircraft Act of 1934, the Centre may introduce Bharatiya Vayuyan Vidheyak, 2024, the reports said.
This would be to help in ease of doing business in civil aviation sector in India.
The Centre is also planning to amend into the Disaster Management Act.
The Monsoon session is scheduled to start from July 22 and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union budget for 2024-25 on July 23.
The Monsoon session will continue till August 12.
