Raipur, January 15, 2025: Chhattisgarh government today issued direction for supply of kerosene under PDS to the gas connection holders ration cards of non-scheduled areas of the state.
For this, 552 kilolitres of kerosene has been allocated to Chhattisgarh which will be distributed to the beneficiaries through fair price shops, official sources said.

An order to this effect has been issued by the State Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department to all the collectors of the state and the State Level Coordinator Oil Industry Raipur.
The letter states that all Antyodaya and priority ration cards prevalent under the Public Distribution System will be eligible for the kerosene.
One litre of kerosene will be provided to ration card holders in urban areas and a maximum of two litres of kerosene will be provided to ration card holders in scheduled areas and non-scheduled areas in rural areas.
The kerosene allotted for the month of January 2025 can be lifted by January 31, the order added.
